how to care for you socks
we recommend the following 7 steps to get the most out of your socks.
how to wash
(1) turn them inside out - this is the key. This keeps the inside pile nice and fluffy and continues to give you that comfy feel in your key impact areas
(2) machine wash - just like any other wool products machine washing is ok, but preferably on a gentle cycle.
(3) cold wash cycle - using hot water is not good for our wool product and may cause them to shrink, which is not cool.
(4) don't use fabric softener - our socks have anti-microbial treatment which ensure they don't absorb the smelly stuff. Using fabric softener in addition to your normal washing powder will impact this treatment, and that stinks
(5) don't tumble dry - these are outdoor adventure socks so you need to dry them in their happy place. Putting them in a tumble dryer may cause them to become depressed and shrink
(6) let them hang - they won't stretch but will hold their form. Like all of your adventure mates, they link to hang outside
(7) put them on... oh yeah!! - that experience of putting on a pair of comfy woollen socks is one of life's little pleasures.
